This qualification reflects the role of individuals who are (or wish to be) engaged to manage the work of others or to add value to or review management practices. The competencies gained can be applied to any industry or organisational setting.

The candidate considering this qualification will be someone who:

-Has vocational experience but without a formal supervision or management qualification. E.g. Coordinator, Leading Hand, Supervisor or Team Leader

Or

-Has completed BSB 40807 Certificate IV in Frontline Management or other relevant qualifications

Or

-Can provide evidence of competency in the majority of units required for the BSB 40807 Certificate IV in Frontline Management or relevant qualifications

Our approach to assisting you gain the qualification is to apply your work experiences or relevant qualifications to the competencies. The Diploma is to be completed in one semester.



Some funded places available for a limited time under the NSW Productivity Places Program for job seekers and existing workers (see definitions below):

1. For existing workers and job seekers (not in receipt of Commonwealth Benefit or allowance) Course Cost $607

2. For those receiving a Commonwealth benefit or allowance. Course Cost $50



Definitions:

A Job Seeker means someone who is a NSW resident and is:


  • registered with an Job Services Australia provider, or

  • an income support recipient who is not currently required to meet activity test or participation requirements, or

  • a participant in the Community Development Employment Projects scheme, or

  • not currently working and seeking or intending to seek paid employment or self-employment after completing training - this definition includes people 20 years of age or older who have been in paid employment for one hour or less in the week prior to commencement of training, and people 15-19 years of age who are not formally enrolled in school and have been in paid employment for 15 hours or less in the week prior to commencement of training, or

  • a participant in the Commonwealth's Access Program, or

  • not working and participating in volunteering activities.



    An Existing Worker means someone who is a NSW resident and works in NSW and is:

  • a person 20 years of age or older who has been in paid employment for more than one hour in the week prior to commencement of training, or

  • a person 15-19 years of age who is not formally enrolled in school and has been in paid employment for more than 15 hours in the week prior to commencement of training.
